Illustrations produced by Kevin Williamson, for St Michael's Mount.
Both illustrations capture the beautiful castle and also our transport vehicles; our ferry boats which we use for spring and summer and our amphibious vehicle which is our lifeline for the winter months.
Kevin's work is inspired by the flat graphic style of travel posters of the 40's and 50's, particularly the artists Frank Sherwin and Norman Wilkinson.
Traditionally these were produced using either gouache, watercolour or oil paint but nowadays we have the new medium of digital, which is the method used for Kevin's illustrations.
